After months of waiting, Warner Bros and DC Entertainment have finally given fans a taste of what they can look forward to from director Matt Reeves’ The Batman (2022) with a full-length trailer! The trailer was released during their massive DC Fandome event that showcased countless new DC Entertainment projects that are in various stages of development including films, television series, and more!
The new The Batman (2022) trailer showcases plenty of action with extended looks at the new caped crusader, Robert Pattinson’s take on Bruce Wayne, plus Zoe Kravitz’s stunning new Selena Kyle, and Colin Farrell’s breathtaking turn as The Penguin! We even get quick glimpses of Paul Dano’s Riddler, Jeffrey Wright’s Jim Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Alfred. Check out the trailer below!
The Batman (2022) is an all-new reboot of the franchise, making this the first film in what is expected to be an ongoing onscreen version of the character and his world. Director Matt Reeves steps in to bring us a unique perspective and style to the world of Gotham City that presents audiences with a Batman that is nothing like what they have ever seen before!
Meanwhile, DC Comics fans can still look forward to seeing Ben Affleck’s previous iteration of Batman from Batman v Superman (2016) and Justice League (2017) making an appearance in The Flash (2022) alongside Michael Keaton’s returning to the role after a thirty-year absence. This will be the first time there will be multiple live-action versions of Batman concurrently in production.
The Batman (2022) stars Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, Andy Serkis, Peter Sarsgaard, Barry Keoghan, and John Turturro. The film is currently set to release on March 4, 2022.
