On the verge of the Academy Awards comes the Golden Raspberry Awards a.k.a. The Razzies which salutes the worst of cinema for the year. Despite earning the most nominations, Expendables 4 managed to escape without being TOO trashed. The biggest loser of the night wound up being Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, a low-budget slasher that cashed in on the original Winnie the Pooh book by A.A. Milne falling into the public domain last year.
Blood and Honey “won” all five awards it was nominated for — Worst Picture, Director for Rhys Frake-Waterfield, Screenplay, Screen Couple for Pooh and Piglet, and Remake/Rip-Off/Sequel.
Expendables 4 (or if you insist, Expend4bles) went into the awards with seven nominations. While Blood and Honey managed to “score” more “wins,” Expendables 4 didn’t escape unscathed. Sylvester Stallone took Worst Supporting Actor, while Megan Fox managed to take Worst Supporting Actress for this film. She also landed Worst Actress for Johnny & Clyde.
Worst Actor went to Jon Voight for Mercy. Does anyone even know what that is?
