Saturday’s Marvel Studios’ SDCC panel debuted a new trailer for their upcoming Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Attorney At LawThe teaser showed the streaming series’ as a genre-blending action legal dramedy deeply rooted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The first trailer was filled with humor and some quick flashes of action. This new trailer features Mark Ruffalo playing the smart Hulk, a mentor to his cousin Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany). We see her learning her new powers and limits as she attempts to balance life, work, and being a 7-foot-tall green goddess in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I will say this, and it’s not meant to be a negative comparison. She-Hulk is a 21st-century fourth-wall-breaking superhero Ally McBeal, funny but dramatic and filled with all sorts of action. Breaking the fourth wall and directly speaking to comic book readers has been a staple of the She-Hulk comics since the 1980s, long before Deadpool first appeared.

Wong (Benedict Wong), the Sorcerer Supreme, also stops by for some legal advice, but it’s the last moments of the trailer that has our tongues wagging. On a parking garage rooftop, Jen appears to meet with another famous Marvel lawyer, Matt Murdock, a/k/a Daredevil. At least that’s what it looks like. I suppose it could be the D-Man. (If you get that reference, we should be friends.)

While Matt appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home (as a really good lawyer), this will be the Man Without Fear’s first costumed appearance in the MCU. He is rumored to appear in the upcoming Disney+ Echo series. Oh, and star on the just announced Daredevil: Born Again series coming in 2024. Hopefully, we can see Matt and Jennifer meet up across a courtroom.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law runs nine episodes, starting on August 17 on Disney+.
