The quagmire of Ezra Miller’s personal life has gotten even stickier as Miller has been formally charged for a burglary incident that occurred back in May. This would have been shortly after their two legal problems in Hawaii which took place in April. It appears that after those run-ins with the law, Miller retreated to their farm in Vermont. Then they went out and broke into someone’s home and stole bottles of alcohol.
On 05/01/2022 at approximately 1755 hours, the Vermont State Police was notified of a burglary complaint at a residence on County Road in the town of Stamford, Vermont. The initial findings indicated that several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present. As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling.
Working with the Bennington County State’s Attorney’s Office, the Vermont State Police investigated and located Miller at 11:23 pm on August 7, 2022. They were served with a citation to appear in Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on September 26 for arraignment on the charge of burglary.
In 2018, Erza Miller was filmed choking a woman to the ground at a bar in Iceland, but no legal action was taken at that time. In April, they (while drunk) assaulted at least one man and one woman at a karaoke bar in Hilo, Hawaii. Miller was arrested, paid their $500 bail, and was released. Just days later, in Pāhoa, Hawaii, Miller was arrested at a private residence for assault. After being taken into custody, they were released pending further investigation.
In mid-June, married couple Chase Iron Eyes and Sara Jumping Eagle filled papers accusing Miller of brainwashing and grooming their young daughter, born Tokata Iron Eyes, although they now identify as nonbinary and go by the name “Gibson.” At the time, Miller could not be found to serve the papers and Gibson appeared to take to social media to refute their parents’ claims.
Just days ago, more claims of grooming and forming a cult-like commune in Iceland emerged.
Miller may be done with Warner Bros.’s Fantastic Beasts film franchise, but they are the star of the studio’s upcoming The Flash, directed by Andy Muschietti. Even with all of the cuts made across WB’s DCEU in recent weeks following the buyout of the studio by Discovery, it does not appear that The Flash will be scrapped. It is scheduled to hit theaters on June 23, 2023, but it’s doubtful that WB will pull out all the stops to promote it. And you can bet that Miller will not be popping up on talk shows, taking Buzzfeed quizzes, or gracing the red carpet.
