American Horror Stories (Series) Trailer

Fans of the long-running American Horror Story seasonal-anthology series will be excited about the show’s latest spinoff, American Horror Stories! This new spinoff series from Ryan Murphy features a more traditional anthology format. Each of its seven episodes will feature hour-long contained stories that further explore horror myths and lore from the franchise’s history.

Longtime viewers can anticipate plenty of familiar faces and locations from past American Horror Story seasons to make an appearance as well! While there are plenty of new faces peppered in, the show boasts an impressively extensive cast list including Matt Bomer, Sierra McCormick, Paris Jackson, Gavin Creel, Ashley Martin Carter, Aaron Tveit, Rhenzy Feliz, Kaia Gerber, Belissa Escobedo, Amy Grabow, Naomi Grossman, John Carroll Lynch, Kyle Red Silverstein, Madison Bailey, Charles Melton, Nico Greetham, Dyllon Burnside, Kevin McHale, Virginia Gardner, Billie Lourd, and Danny Trejo.

The FX on Hulu exclusive American Horror Stories kicks off FX’s American Horror Summer event on July 15, 2021. The show’s seven-episode run will lead up to the release of the new season of the original American Horror Story series; a show which is celebrating its milestone 10th season with a ‘Double Feature‘ theme when it premieres on August 25, 2021. Addams Family 2 (2021) Trailer

They’re creepy and they’re kooky, and back for more spooky adventures! The Addams Family, starring in the aptly titled The Addams Family 2, sequel to their smash hit self-titled animated feature film from 2019.  MGM has just released the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, which was greenlit while the first film was still dominating the box office.

The new film will follow the adventures of Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, and of course Uncle Fester, as they venture out into the world for a summer road trip across the United States that they’ll never forget! The majority of the cast from the first film is returning, including Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, and Snoop Dog. They will be joined by Bill Hader, who is playing a new character named Cyrus, and Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton as Pugsley. Walton inherits the role from Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard who voiced the character in the previous film. Apparently, Wolfhard’s voice had changed a few too many decibels in between films, leading to his role being recast.

The directing team of Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon are back behind the camera, so fans of the first film will likely enjoy this second outing with one of the weirdest families in pop culture history. The Addams Family 2 is set to release on October 1, 2021; just in time to kick off the Halloween season! You can check out the trailer below.

Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified (Series) Trailer

UFOs have pretty consistently played a strong role in popular culture, but this summer they look to be back in a big way! Never one to be behind the curve, the team at Netflix is hopping aboard the hype train with an all-new UFO docu-series, Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified.

Well, we say all-new, but it looks like the show is actually originally from the UK and that Netflix is just bringing it to U.S. audiences for the first time (which is fine). The series synopsis describes it as an “Original factual television series featuring the most recent information and proof exposing the most top-secret government projects that handled contacts with and cover-ups of, extraterrestrial presence on Earth.Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified is set to drop on Netflix on August 3, 2021. You can check out the trailer below!

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time (2021) Trailer

Evangelion is back yet again just to end yet again! Fans of the long-running “giant-mechs vs giant-monsters” anime series will be excited to hear that the latest (and supposedly final) chapter of the Evangelion saga, Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time, is set to debut later this summer on Amazon.

The original series aired and ended its 26-episode run back in 1996, only to be brought back in 1997 for a follow-up film that would bring more closure with End Of Evangelion. After that, it sat dormant for nearly a decade until a new four-film series that would reboot the franchise was announced in 2006 dubbed Rebuild Of Evangelion. The first film, Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone (2007), would retell the story of the first six episodes of the original anime. The follow-up films, however, Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance (2009) and Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo (2012), change things up entirely by introducing several all-new story elements and characters, telling a very different story from the original Evangelion show.

The fourth and final film, Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time, makes its global premiere on Amazon’s Prime subscription streaming service on August 13, 2021. It is expected to complete the Rebuild Of Evangelion story and bring fans of the saga proper closure. The creator of the original Evangelion series, Hideaki Anno, both wrote the screenplay and directed the film, bringing a certain level of prestige to the project.

If you aren’t caught up but like what you see in the trailer below, Amazon will also be releasing the last three films from the Rebuild Of Evangelion on their streaming service ahead of the premiere Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time. All four films will be dubbed in 10 languages and offer subtitles in 28 languages, so if you don’t understand Japanese you’re still all set to enjoy the complete Rebuild Of Evangelion saga. Check out the new trailer below!

Cinderella (2021) Trailer

While Disney may have the market cornered in live-action remakes of classic animated films, Amazon is throwing its hat into the ring this fall with its new adaptation of Cinderella. Amazon clearly believes in this new adaptation, having released a brief 30-second teaser trailer that gives fans a first look at the upcoming film from the writer of the Pitch Perfect (2012) trilogy, Kay Cannon.

The film features an stunning all-star cast, with recording artist Camila Cabello starring in the titular role and Frozen (2013) star Idina Menzel as her wicked stepmother. They will be joined by Billy Porter, Pierce Brosnan, John Mulaney, Minnie Driver, James Corden, and Missy Elliot.

You can catch Amazon’s Cinderella this fall when it drops exclusively on the Amazon Prime subscription streaming service on September 3, 2021. Check out the teaser trailer below!

That’s a wrap for this edition of Trailer Park! We hope you enjoyed these selections as much as we did! We’re sure we will be back for another trip to the park in no time.
