Funko Leak Confirms ‘WandaVision’ Rumors

With Marvel Studios new streaming series WandaVision on Disney+ reaching the halfway point of its first season, it’s only a matter of time until the show starts really answering the questions on fan’s minds. Thanks to a recent leak of an upcoming Funko product, we now have confirmation that at least one heavily speculated fan theory is true!

An image of a new Funko POP! Vinyl 2-pack recently leaked online courtesy of the Instagram account Dis.Pops. The two figures in this set, which looks to have been planned as an Emerald City Comic Con exclusive, appear to be adolescent versions of Wanda and Vision’s twins, Billy and Tommy.

As the twins were literally born just two episodes ago after just one episode length of pregnancy, seeing them as adolescents already in Halloween costumes would imply that the pair are also aging up at an accelerated rate. As our heroes jump from one time period into the next, the kids look to be growing up fast!

What does this mean for the long term? Well for starters, it absolutely confirms that we will be seeing teenaged to young-adult versions of Billy and Tommy suiting up for an eventual Young Avengers project. While that hasn’t been formally announced yet, and we don’t know if it will be in a movie or a television series, with all of the character casting announced so far, it is inevitable.

We have seen the confirmed casting of other Young Avengers characters all across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Kate Bishop in Hawkeye, America Chavez in Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness, Cassie Lang in Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania! Nevermind the rumored arrival of Eli Bradley in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier! With Billy and Tommy definitely aging quickly in this series, it is a guarantee that we will see them fully suited up as Wiccan and Speed in the not too distant future.

This also could confirm our theory from last week about Evan Peters appearing in the show as Tommy (or Billy, or both of the twins) rather than reprising his role as Quicksilver from the Fox X-Men films. Now that we know the twins are definitely aging up fast, his rumored appearance in the show adds up even more.

Hopefully, we will find out even more about Wanda and Vision’s little bundles of joy in the next few episodes of WandaVision as they air on the Disney+ streaming service in the coming weeks.
