It was already rumored last year that rapper Megan Thee Stallion would appear as herself on the new Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Now that has been confirmed, along with a few more details about her role. She will indeed be playing herself… sort of.
Josh Segarra, who plays lawyer Augustus “Pug” Pugliese, teased:
“A gentleman is being catfished by somebody that lives in another universe, let’s say. Another world… So he thinks he’s dating one person, and he’s not, so we need to help him figure that out.”
However, if you watch this video, you’ll notice in between Seharra’s statements, the reporter teases that the “gentleman” in question thinks he is talking to a “certain recording artist.”

Megan Thee Stallion has a slight relationship with Disney. She rapped at the Academy Awards ceremony along with the cast of Encanto for a performance of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” On a comic book-related note, her song “Diamonds” with Normani was featured on the soundtrack to Birds of Prey. She has had a few prior acting roles on the TV series Good Girls and P-Valley.
In 2020, Time magazine listed Megan Thee Stallion as one of its annual 100 most influential people in the world. She has won multiple awards including three Grammys. Her single “Savage” featuring Beyoncé hit #1. (Of course, in her original comic book, She-Hulk was billed as “The Savage She-Hulk,” so that’s appropriate.)
Reportedly, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will include more celebrity cameos as it progresses. Among the Marvel Cinematic Universe cameos that have appeared or will appear are Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Benedict Wong as Wong, and perhaps most highly anticipated, Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Cox starred as the blind attorney/vigilante in three seasons of his own show on Netflix. He also appeared in the crossover miniseries Defenders, before returning in Spider-Man: No Way Home, firmly in the MCU.
The first episode of She-Hulk received good reviews upon its release. New episodes debut weekly, every Thursday.
