Disney+ Day was this past Friday, and it gave the world a wealth of sneak peeks and tidbits about upcoming projects, such as the announcement of a revival of X-Men: The Animated Series with all-new episodes in 2023. And even though the latest Marvel project on Disney+, Hawkeye, is less than two weeks away, that didn’t stop the media giant from giving fans just a little more of the upcoming series.
To promote the premiere of Hawkeye on November 24th, Disney provided an exclusive clip to the morning news show Good Morning America. They even gussied the clip with an intro from Jeremy Renner, who plays Clint Barton in the series and the MCU as a whole, to wish the world a Happy Disney+ Day. The clip was later shared on the official GMA Twitter account, and you can watch it below.

Though the clip is short, only about 30 seconds, it gives viewers a good idea of what they can expect from the series. A down-on-his-luck Clint Barton turning to upcoming hero Kate Bishop (played by Hailee Steinfeld) for help. Though it’s unclear how Clint and Kate’s relationship comes to be, as the series marks the first appearance of Kate, it looks like it will play out similar to how they were portrayed in the critically acclaimed Hawkeye series from Matt Fraction and David Aja.
On top of the clip, Disney released a trio of new images from the series. Of the three images, one is rather bland, featuring Clint standing in front of the entrance of a swanky hotel, and another, with Clint and Kate standing with arrows pulled, we’ve seen in the last teaser for the series.
The third image, however, gives us a peek at the show’s action. In it, Clint and Kate stand in the center of an ice rink surrounded by fog. All around them are track-suited thugs, presumably the same thugs we got a glance at in the previous teaser.
What the image has to say about the show I can only guess at, but it certainly has piqued my interest to find out how Clint and Kate get themselves into that situation.
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Florence Pugh, and Vera Farmiga, and the first two episodes of the series premiere on Disney+ on November 24th.
