The Flash director Andy Muschietti has delighted teasing fans with little peeks behind the scenes via social media. He has given glimpses of life on set, with pictures of the chairs for Bruce Wayne and Barry, and recently posted a shot of the classic Tim Burton era Batman Batsuit logo with blood dripping on it.

Now he turns his attention to the Flash himself. On his Instagram account, Muschietti posted a shot of the redesigned suit logo for the Scarlet Speedster. The new version looks much more comics accurate than the version seen in the Justice League. Check it out below.

This look mirrors the design on the recently revealed logo for the film. Muschetti dropped that image back in April as they began filming in London.

The Future of the DCEU?

The Flash film continues the story of Ezra Miller’s version of Barry Allen. It also features many characters we have already met in the DCEU films and the Snyderverse. Kiersey Clemons returns to play Iris West after briefly appearing in the 4-hour long Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max.

Joining the Scarlet Speedster will be not one, but at least two different versions of Batman. Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will both be playing different versions of Batman. Affleck will be making what most fans feel will be his last appearance in the cape and cowl.  Keaton’s version may be the one he originated back in 1989, but considering the source material, he may play a different version of Batman.

Also appearing in the film is Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, who will make her DCEU feature film debut. The best-known version of Kara Zor-El is in her own CW series. For the past 6 years, Melissa Benoist played the Maid of Might. That series ends this year. The rumors suggest that we could be seeing Cir-El in the film, a future daughter of Superman. No version of Supergirl is featured in the original comic version of “Flashpoint.” Cyborg, who was originally slated to play a major role in the film, played a critical role in the “Flashpoint” comic timeline. Actor Ray Fisher has been in a very public feud with Warner Brothers over his treatment by director Joss Whedon and will not appear in this movie.

Maribel Verdú and Ron Livingston join the cast as Nora and Henry Allen, Barry’s parents. Billy Crudup appeared in both versions of the Justice League as Henry but will not be returning for The Flash.

The Flash races to theaters on November 4, 2022.
