Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous has been a crazy ride for two seasons and fans are hungry for more adventures with our favorite gang of campers. Thankfully, the combined forces of Netflix, Universal Pictures, Amblin Entertainment, and DreamWorks Animation are working fast to bring a third season of the hit series to the Netflix subscription streaming service, and we have already got a trailer!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the show, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is the first-ever animated series canonically set in the world of the Jurassic Park/World films. The first season was set during the catastrophic events of the first Jurassic World movie, while the second season saw the campers stranded all alone on a dinosaur-infested island following the evacuation of the park.

Season 3 of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is set to continue our story and pick up where we left off at the end of Season 2, meaning that our story will once again be set during the time period between Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. You can check out the full trailer below!

As seen in the trailer, the kids tried to make a daring escape off of Isla Nublar only to be sent crashing back to shore by a massive wave! They soon find themselves delving deeper into the park in an attempt to locate a way to contact the outside world. Instead, they find out more than they ever wanted to know about within Dr. Wu’s now abandoned InGen laboratory.

A new threat is teased in a pre-recorded message from Wu himself, saying “The E750 project is extremely aggressive” just before we see him appear to get attacked by what might be the Indoraptor from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (or it could be some form of predecessor to that creature, only time will tell for sure).

The full Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 3 synopsis reads:

The campers uncover more details of Dr. Wu’s secret research, and must quickly take their fate into their own hands with a dangerous plan to leave Isla Nublar behind for good. But when a tropical storm delays their departure, a lethal new threat quickly closes in on the campers, placing their escape, as well as their lives, in extreme peril.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous features voicework from Paul-Mike’l Williams, Jenna Ortega, Ryan Potter, Raini Rodriguez, Sean Giambrone, and Kausar Mohammed.

Season 3 of the show is set to arrive on the Netflix subscription streaming service on May 21, 2021. The first two seasons of the series are available for streaming now so you have time to catch up or refresh before the new season!
