DC may have bowed out of SDCC this summer, but they’re making up for that absence with this year’s DC FanDome. Created in 2020, DC FanDome embodied all aspects of the DC Universe in a truly global virtual experience. This year, they are kicking it up several super-notches in a don’t miss free streaming event on October 16th.
Ann Sarnoff, Chair and Chief Executive Officer, WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group, teased the event saying:
This year, we’re taking everything that people loved about DC FanDome and supercharging it to super-serve fans with even more exclusive first-looks, breaking news, in-depth interviews, and insight from the stars and creative teams of their favorite DC content.
And she wasn’t exaggerating!
Looking at some of the confirmed content planned, expect DC FanDome to provide the latest news, exclusive trailers, and never-before-seen footage from the DC Universe. The event will also feature casts and creators behind some of your favorite DC games, comics, movies, and TV shows.

- DC Comics will honor the legacy of Wonder Woman with a showcase of three upcoming books. DC explores her history with the DC Black Label miniseries Wonder Woman Historia, expands the Amazon mythos with Nubia and the Amazons, and honors the inspiration she has provided to women around the world with the original graphic novel Wonderful Women of the World.

DC has also announced they will simultaneously launch a separate version of the FanDome for kids with specific kid-friendly content named, appropriately, DC Kids FanDome (DCKidsFanDome.com). Kids and their parents around the world can explore the DC Multiverse alongside their favorite DC superheroes and catch sneak peeks of upcoming DC animated adventures like Batwheels, DC Super Hero Girls and Teen Titans Go!. They will also be able to immerse themselves with at-home digital activities all in a safe, kid-friendly environment.
DC FanDome will be free to fans worldwide at DCFanDome.com and on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. In addition, the event will be captioned in multiple languages, including Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, and Spanish.
