If you hadn’t heard, Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes are lacing up their kicks for Space Jam: A New Legacy.

The sequel to the 1996 animation classic drops on HBO Max and in theatres next month. This time the Toon All-Stars team up with Le Bron James as they take on the mysterious Goon Squad. “The Tune Squad and LeBron James team up to reach new heights in Space Jam: A New Legacy,” according to the official Twitter account for the movie. “The second trailer drops tomorrow!” (June 9th)

Not much is known about the bad boys of the toon league yet, but we know this time, the man behind the strings is Al G Rhythm. Avenger Don Cheadle plays the villain. He spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the movie in March saying,

“The opportunity to take a classic title like that and do another spin on it with the latest GOAT, being LeBron. I just thought, ‘Hey, this is cool’… To get to play this really innovative character, which I don’t even know how much I can talk about. Or what you know. But I just thought it was going to be a cool family story with LeBron and a cool character to play opposite him.”

Space Jam stars the Looney Tunes, Le Bron James, and Don Cheadle, alongside Sonequa Martin-Green (Star Trek: Discovery), Khris Davis, and Cedric Joe. No word yet if Bill Murray will be coming in off the bench.

Malcolm D Lee directs the script from Juel Taylor, Tony Rettenmaier, Keenan Coogler, and Terence Nance. James produces with Ryan Coogler, Maverick Carter, and Duncan Henderson.

Space Jam: A New Legacy debuts in theatres and on HBO Max on July 16 for a limited time.
