Despite a runtime of over four-hours, Zack Snyder today announced that he’s pulling Justice League from the HBO Max streaming service to add more footage to the film.

“I was at a car wash in the San Fernando Valley cleaning out my Maserati and I found an SD card under the back seat,” Snyder said in an interview with premier entertainment outlet Marie Claire. “Luckily, I spotted it before it got sucked up in that long, sucky thing (Editor’s note: he means a vacuum). So, when I got home, I checked it out and there was, like, another three hours of JL footage on there that I thought I lost!”

Snyder gave a few teases as to the kinds of new material we can expect to see, which includes more scenes of Alfred building gadgets for Batman, Barry Allen visiting the hot dog vendor in the hospital to apologize for stealing a hot dog, and an extended scene of Batman and the Joker arguing in the post-apocalyptic world.

But that’s not all Snyder wants to change about his epic Justice League cut.

“I think it needs more nudity,” he said. “Mangold did it in Logan. Why can’t I?”

Just what kind of nudity, Snyder didn’t say, but we sure hope it’s not Steppenwolf’s metal loincloth lifting up to show us his little Darkseid.

Oh, and also, APRIL FOOLS! While we wouldn’t put it past Snyder to tinker further with his own movies, we’d hope that even he would agree that four hours is long enough.
