*Massive Spoiler Alert*  Stop here if you have not yet watched Episode 7 of WandaVision

Last week’s episode of WandaVision gave us what could quite possibly be the catchiest theme song of the entire series with ‘Agatha All Along.‘ This was paired with the massive reveal that Wanda’s friendly neighbor Agnes (played by the devilishly talented Kathryn Hahn) was actually the villainous witch Agatha Harkness. Wanda and Agatha have a deep history in the Marvel Comics universe, so many fans had been speculating that little old Agnes may be Agatha since the character was first announced for the show. And while all of this is great fun and certainly exciting, the real surprise of Episode 7 of WandaVision was just how damn catchy Agatha’s theme song ended up being!

Marvel Studios is well aware of just how much fans are latching on to the ‘Agatha All Along‘ theme song and have now made it available on both Spotify and iTunes for streaming and purchase. Fans of the Disney+ streaming series WandaVision wasted absolutely no time listening to it and getting the song the #1 song on the iTunes Soundtrack charts!

Agatha All Along‘ was written by the Oscar-winning duo of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The award-winning composer couple wrote pretty much all of the soundtrack and musical score for WandaVision, which is no easy feat when you consider that they have had to cater the series sound to the decade it was emulating in each episode.

One of the pair, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, recently sat down with Marvel to discuss what went into writing the all-new Agatha Harkness theme song that is blowing up the charts:

Agatha gets her own theme song that is, sort of, The Munsters, Addams Family, kind of, witchy, ghoulish feeling. It also has a little bit of an oompa loompa tenor feel to it too. We decided since we could hit any decade with that, we had to kind of take a couple swings at what would Agatha’s music be? But we ultimately decided the most fun is to just go right in with all of the monster, witch music we’ve seen before.

The wild witch of WandaVision Agatha Harkness herself, Kathryn Hahn, is featured on the track, singing her own praises in what has quickly become the catchiest tune to come from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date.

If you need more evidence for yourself, check out the amazing video mash-up put together by Twitter user Slayerfest98 that combines the track with a montage of footage of Marvel Cinematic Universe stars dancing! The majority of these clips are taken directly from Marvel’s own blooper reels, but it is kind of crazy how well they seem to sync up with this new WandaVision track!

WandaVision is currently airing a new episode every Friday on the Disney+ subscription streaming service, although that season (series?) finale is quickly approaching! The series is the first to come directly from Marvel Studios as part of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe and stars Elizabeth Olsen (Godzilla), Paul Bettany (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Teyonah Parris (Dear White People), Kathryn Hahn (Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse), Randall Park (Ant-Man And The Wasp), Kat Dennings (Thor), Evan Peters (X-Men: Days Of Future Past), and Josh Stamberg (Pacific Rim: Uprising).

What new surprises do you think we may still see in the series’ remaining episodes? New guest stars? New songs? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and be sure to stick around Geek Anything for all of the latest WandaVision updates!
