Hasbro is preparing to launch an all-new generation of Power Rangers with the 28th season of the long-tenured superhero franchise in Power Rangers: Dino Fury and fans could not be more excited!
After Power Rangers: Beast Morphers concluded last year, Hasbro is looking to change things up a bit. For starters, as the Power Rangers brand was purchased outright by Hasbro from Saban Brands during pre-production on Power Rangers: Beast Morphers, that means that Power Rangers: Dino Fury is officially the first-ever Power Rangers series produced entirely by Hasbro as the owner of the franchise.
Hasbro has officially confirmed that Power Rangers: Dino Fury is set to premiere on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 8:00 A.M. EST on Nickelodeon. That means we are less than a week away from a brand new era of Power Rangers! But if you can’t wait that long (and who can blame you), we have some great new early looks at the series included below!
The all-new season of the show is based on the Japanese Super Sentai series Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger and sees the Power Rangers brand returning to its dinosaur-themed roots first seen in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers way back in 1993. The Power Rangers have returned to the dinosaur theme a few times over the years with Power Rangers: Dino Thunder (2004) and Power Rangers: Dino Charge (2015), but this newest iteration of the Power Rangers brand is bringing it back in a bigger way than ever before!
A plot synopsis released by Hasbro and Nickelodeon for Power Rangers: Dino Fury has described the series as follows-
An army of powerful alien beings is unleashed on Earth, threatening life as we know it, and a brand-new team of Power Rangers, fueled by the pre-historic power of the dinosaurs, are recruited to deal with the threat.
65 million years ago an ancient force brought the power of the Morphin Grid to planet Earth. Now, the forces of evil have come to claim that power, and a group of heroes must rise up to meet this challenge. Harnessing the energy of the Morphin Grid with the prehistoric power of Dino Fury.
They will unlock incredible new Morphers, Dino Powered Weapons, powerful new Zords, and astonishing new Megazords. In the tradition of dinosaur teams of the past comes a brand new entry, Power Rangers: Dino Fury!

The all-new Power Rangers: Dino Fury is executive produced by Simon Bennett and stars Russell Curry (Dino Fury Red Ranger), Hunter Deno (Dino Fury Pink Ranger), Kai Moya (Dino Fury Blue Ranger), Chance Perez (Dino Fury Black Ranger), and Tessa Rao (Dino Fury Green Ranger). The show is set to debut on Nickelodeon on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 8AM EST.
