The team at Quantum Mechanix looks to be upping their branding game with a dive into the wonderful world of Disney for some of the latest pieces in their popular Q-Figs mini-statue line.
This new assortment of Disney themed Q-Figs are the first releases set for the Disney license that QMx announced last fall. Fans of the classic ‘Disney Afternoon‘ animation block from the ’90s will be excited to hear that they can look forward to new pieces featuring Darkwing Duck and characters like Goliath and Demona from Disney’s Gargoyles. Each Disney Q-Fig mini-statue is set to stand around 5″ tall as is the standard for the Q-Figs line. They each feature a unique diorama display base as part of their design so that they always look dynamic in your collection.
Darkwing Duck is seen standing atop a gargoyle (which is quite fittingly duck themed), with his gas-gun in hand as his cape flaps in the night. Meanwhile, the Gargoyles characters Goliath and Demona are both in action poses standing atop pieces of the castle featured in the series. QMx has not said just who else we can expect yet, but has confirmed that there are definitely more Gargoyles characters coming in the near future!
In addition to these, Quantum Mechanix has also announced a deluxe Rocketeer Q-Fig Elite piece for the Disney lineup. This collectible statue stands at 5″ tall with an extra-large diorama display featuring the American flag blowing in the wind for dramatic effect. We know what you’re thinking: “Isn’t The Rocketeer a pulp hero”? While he most certainly is, this piece is particularly based on the 1991 Disney film that starred Billy Campbell, Jennifer Connelly, and Timothy Dalton.
Each of the standard Disney Q-Figs is priced to retail at $19.95, making them both fun and affordable! The deluxe Rocketeer Q-Fig Elite is priced slightly higher at $29.95, which is still definitely in the lower end of the spectrum with regards to how much display pieces like this can go for. All of these new Disney Q-Figs from Quantum Mechanix are set to release in Spring 2021.

Darkwing Duck Q-Fig

Goliath, leader of the last (he thinks) clan of living gargoyles, has awakened after a 1000 year sleep to find himself in the modern world and atop a New York City skyscraper. Standing nearly seven feet tall, the imposing gargoyle sits perched on his parapet, ready to defend his clan and adopted city.
