Yes, you read that headline correctly! Chet, Wyatt’s butthead older brother from the John Hughes 80’s classic Weird Science, is finally getting an action figure! It’s the toy you never knew you needed, but now that you know it exists, you absolutely have to have it in your collection!
Chet is coming our way from the team at Super7 as part of their retro-styled 3.75″ scale ReAction Figure toyline. Unfortunately for fans of the late Bill Paxton (who played Chet in the film), this particular figure is based on the third act of the film where Chet has been transformed into a hideous toad creature, which is lovingly referred to by fans as Toad Chet.

Wyatt and Gary’s dreamy creation, Lisa, knows how to bring out someone’s inner beauty; or in the case of Chet, whatever the opposite of that is. Let this Weird Science Toad Chet 3.75” ReAction Figure serve as a reminder to would-be bullies that karma can come back to bite them in their wrinkly, green butt!
Sadly, as of the time of this writing, Super7 has not released any information as to if we can expect to see any other figures for the Weird Science license joining the ReAction Figure line. We think Wyatt, Gary, Lisa, and maybe a normal Chet would be great additions to the line! Who wouldn’t want a full line of Weird Science figures in their collection?
