Get ready to suit up! DC FanDome will return on Saturday, October 16, and they have announced the full talent and host lineup for this year’s event. From the list of names released, this year looks to be an epic event! DC pulled out all the stops with pretty much everyone and anyone you can think of that has a project or two with DC attending the event. What’s more, the names hint at what fans can expect!
Some notable names from upcoming DC movies are listed including Matt Reeves, Robert Pattinson, and Zoe Kravitz (obviously to hype up The Batman and introduce a trailer). The cast of Black Adam, including Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, and Quintessa Swindell, will also be in attendance as well as Jason Momoa and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II from Aquaman 2. Furthermore, Zachary Levi will attend, so we will definitely hear about Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
On the TV side, expect to see some CW Arrowverse stars such as Grant Gustin and Candice Patton from The Flash, Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Jordan Elsass, and Alex Garfin from Superman & Lois, and Javicia Leslie, Rachel Skarsten, and Camrus Johnson from Batwoman. Coming in ahead of their last season, Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Katie McGrath, Chyler Leigh, Jeremy Jordan, Jesse Rath, Chris Wood, Staz Nair, Peta Sergeant, Nicole Maines, and David Harewood will be there for a farewell tribute and to talk about what fans can expect in their final season. And lastly, Naomi creator Ava DuVernay and star Kaci Walfall will be there to talk about the new DC series coming to the CW.
Of course, there’s more to the TV side of DC than shows on The CW. Matt Bomer will be repping for the Doom Patrol which is currently streaming on HBO Max while Kaley Cuoco and Ron Funches will be there to represent the Harley Quinn animated series. James Gunn is scheduled to appear to promote his Peacemaker TV series alongside John Cena. But what has us most excited is that Bruce Timm will be there to talk about Batman: Caped Crusader, new series said to be “in the spirit of Batman: The Animated Series.”
