Who doesn’t love a good holiday special? People even love bad ones like the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special from 1978. But a number of fun holiday-themed projects are coming our way soon. Next year, James Gunn will be gifting the Marvel Cinematic Universe with The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. And we’re set to join the Muppets as they board a doom buggy headed to Disney’s Haunted Mansion this fall. But it looks like WWE will also be getting in on the spooky fun as they team with Netflix for Escape The Undertaker.

Professional wrestling and horror will collide as World Wrestling Entertainment debuts an interactive Halloween adventure on the streamer next month. Following his farewell from the ring last year, it looks like the legendary Undertaker has taken up residence in a haunted mansion of his own. But the Phenom is about to have some visitors in the form of Big E, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston aka the positively beloved faction known as The New Day. However, the eleven-time tag team champions will need the help of the WWE Universe at home in order to escape from the Deadman’s demons.

Here’s the official synopsis for Escape The Undertaker courtesy of Bloody Disgusting:

“The Undertaker has set a trap for the decorated tag team The New Day at his mansion. What they don’t know: The Undertaker’s mansion is an extreme Haunted House, packed to the brim with supernatural challenges. It’s up to viewers to decide the fate of these three poor souls trying to survive the wrath of The Undertaker.”

This interactive film marks the latest offering from the unprecedented deal between WWE Studios and Netflix signed in 2019. Though initially meant to create family-friendly programming such as the movie The Main Event and a sitcom featuring WWE legend (and current AEW star) Paul Wight called The Big Show Show, the agreement has expanded to include the upcoming Vince McMahon documentary from ESPN’s 30 For 30 creator Bill Simmons. Although, based on the following images, it’s a pretty safe bet to say that Escape The Undertaker will be more like the former rather than the latter:
