If for some reason you still haven’t seen Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings or just want to experience it again, you will be able to check it out at home on Friday, November 21.  That’s when Marvel’s latest hit– which has greatly outperformed expectations at the box office– will land on Disney+ as part of what is being dubbed “Disney+ Day.”

As Disney’s new CEO, Bob Chapek, stated during Goldman Sachs 30th Annual Communacopia Conference:

“We’ll be surprising people with offers and it will be an annual thing.  We’re going to have new content release against one of our four key franchises.

In a separate statement, Chapek added:

“The inaugural Disney+ Day will be a grand-scale celebration of our subscribers across the entire company. This day of appreciation brings to life our mission to entertain, inform, and inspire fans and families around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling, and will become an annual tentpole event to be amplified across our global businesses.”

Obviously, since this is a big event and not just the release of one movie, subscribers can look forward to a slew of new material to binge including the free release of Jungle Cruise which previously debuted day-and-date in theaters and as a Premier Access title on Disney+.

Feast and Paperman are both Academy Award winners and Get A Horse! was nominated.

In addition to all this new content, Disney+ Day will mark the launch of the streaming service in South Korea and Taiwan.  It will also launch in Hong Kong just a few days later on November 16.
